The default prefers a female English voice when one is available on the device.
The first read is immediate; this is the pause between repeats.
The game automatically repeats the dictation this many times.
Normal voice stays at 0.8×.
Maximum number of 3-second peeks for each word/item. Default: 1.
Exact OCR matches are marked CORRECT automatically. Capitalization-only errors are shown clearly.
Manual Listen is limited to 2 times per question.

✍️ Android: try the English handwriting keyboard for the most reliable pen input. Free draw uses the built-in PP-OCRv6 engine; OCR files load from the ocr/ folder on first use. No API key or Wi-Fi is required. Accuracy with young children’s handwriting is not guaranteed; an adult can correct the reading. 👨‍👩‍👧 Parent tip: After starting, the setup area hides automatically to give more room to the game. Drag with a finger or mouse—or tap tiles in order. The game works best in Chrome or Safari with sound on.
